Membership and Giving

The Cattle Raisers Museum is appreciative to all members who support the Museum’s vision of providing opportunities for people of all ages to learn about the economics, history, heritage and culture of the livestock industry of the Southwest.

 Your tax deductible gift to the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Foundation will:

*Assist the Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Foundation’s mission to provide opportunities for people of all ages to learn about the livestock industry of the Southwest.

*Help to promote the future of the cattle industry through educational programming.

*Help to expand the Foundation’s scholarship program to encourage and assist more  students who are interested in professional careers within this industry

* Free grounds admission to Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo (January 13, 2012 – February 4, 2012).  Members receive unlimited access to the grounds, livestock barns, exhibit halls, midway, petting zoo and much more.   Free admission is limited to the number of persons on your membership.  Parking and Rodeo performances not included.

Donors who make an annual gift of $2,500 or more are members of the Cattle Raisers Foundation Society and will receive more exclusive benefits.

How do I join, renew or upgrade my membership?

How soon will I receive my membership card?
Your membership card(s) will be mailed 1-2 weeks from the day your contribution is received.  If you would like to visit the Museum prior to receiving your card(s), your name will be at the membership kiosk of the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History located in the Museum’s atrium.

If I forget to bring my membership card, can I still visit the Cattle Raisers Museum for free?
Yes!  Please visit the FWMSH’s membership kiosk in the lobby and they can look up your membership. 

How can I replace a lost/stolen membership card?
Please contact the Cattle Raisers Museum at 817-509-8964 or ksmith@cowgirl.net to receive your replacement card(s).

Is my membership tax-deductible?
Yes, a portion of every membership is tax deductible.

How do I buy a membership as a gift?
Please contact the Cattle Raisers Museum at 817-509-8964 or e-mail ksmith@cowgirl.net and provide the recipient’s contact information.  You may also fax or mail a membership form and note that it is for a gift and provide the recipient’s information.

Annual Giving

The Cattle Raisers Museum is a recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that operates without state or federal funding.  Your tax-deductible contribution helps the TSCRF preserve the history and advance the future of the livestock industry through Cattle Raisers Museum exhibits, education initiatives and programming.

Matching Employer Contributions

Matching employer contributions are a way to double or triple your gift to the Cattle Raisers Museum. To obtain matching funds, simply pick up a form from your employer and include it with your gift to the Cattle Raisers Museum.

Memorial & Honorary Gifts

Memorial and honorary gifts to the Cattle Raisers Museum are meaningful tributes to loved ones passionate about preserving and perpetuating the heritage of the livestock industry of the Southwest.

Please provide the name and address of the person being honored and the occasion of the gift. We will notify the person being honored of your generosity.

Planned Giving
There are a number of gift planning options, from a bequest in your will to life-income gifts, which provide you with income for a period of time before the Museum may use your gift. The best plan for you will balance your charitable and financial goals while supporting the legacy of the Cattle Raisers Museum.
